Hi. I'm Andra Moran and if you are looking for me, try my back porch or the garden. I chased a dream to Nashville and found a collection of super creative people; wonderful friends who share with me their passions and hopes and art in all forms. It's a beautiful thing, life in Music City. I grew up moving around a lot as a kid, so my definition of home is broad and bilingual - and also rooted in a fantasy of a log cabin with wheat fields shimmering in the distance. I believe that home is where the heart is, but also that you should travel as much as you possibly can! I love my superfun cover band, Guilty Pleasures, yardsales, making it through airport security with no do-overs, and honest conversation.

Hey I'm Stephen. I draw inspiration from dobros, Star Wars, friendships, the occasional book, and french-press coffee. The creative spirit and camaraderie in Nashville are inspiring and intimidating all at the same time. I love living in a town with so much energy. I have 7 brothers and sisters, all talented musicians. I try to find truth and beauty and God in my daily life. I love hiking at Radnor Lake, biking around town, shakin' it at Roberts Western World, and seeing great shows at The Basement & The Mercy Lounge. I've been on the road a good bit in the last few years, and I've decided it would be nice to settle down in Paris one day. With my lovely wife Andra, of course.
The Bridge features some wildly talented musicians each week, including...

"Loving Faith and Faithful Love"
For I want you to know how much I am struggling for you, and for those in Laodicea, and for all who have not seen me face to face. I want their hearts to be encouraged and united in love, so that they may have all the riches of assured understanding and have the knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ himself, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Coordinating Minister
I'm Trey, the Minister for The Bridge, and I am humbled to be a part of the family here at Woodmont. I was born and raised in Tennessee, and for the last three years I have had the privilege of being a minister here in this loving, service-oriented church. My favorite things include TCU and Titans football, spending time with my family, playing tennis, cycling, and feeling God's presence through friends. It has been inspiring to see so many people - young and old - join with one another to help build this worship experience over the last year. This fall the final pieces of that puzzle will come together, and we want your help building a vibrant and meaningful community at The Bridge.
What can we build together?

Hi. I'm Clay Stauffer. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN, attended college at TCU, seminary at Princeton, and I have served as the Senior Minister here at Woodmont since 2007. My wife and I have one daughter, Montgomery, who was born in July of 2010. She is the greatest blessing ever. I feel very fortunate to lead such a growing and dynamic congregation. "The Bridge" has been a very exciting addition to our weekly worship and to the life of our congregation. We have worked very hard to create a welcoming place where everybody can belong and be themselves. I welcome you to the web site and hope that you will come and visit with us one Sunday evening in the near future. I look forward to meeting you soon.

When God called me to Woodmont Christian Church, I was amazed by God’s grace. In fact, I like to say that I feel like the lightest guy on the football squad: “I’m just glad to be a part of the team.” A part of my work includes preaching at The Bridge when my teammates need a breather, as well as working with young adults and families. I enjoy spiritual writing, preaching, teaching, and pastoral care. When I’m not doing these things, I can be found at the gym or at the park with my dog. See you at The Bridge!
Creative teams are short-term small groups that help plan the worship services during a particular series. They are a great way to get to know other members of The Bridge community and let your creative voice be heard in worship. There is a position for everyone, from the super creative to those who just like to be a part of the team in the background. If you would like to join an upcoming Theme Team, please fill out the contact form under "Visit" link on the menu above.

Most importantly, we believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and our Lord and Savior. Beyond that, we believe that all followers of Christ should be welcome to worship together. You will find that The Bridge is open to confronting the hard questions of faith together and that we don’t fall into the old categories of “conservative” or “liberal.” Instead, we prefer to simply be “Christian” and bound together by God’s love for us all. Communion is at the heart of our worship experience because it helps us connect intimately to each other and to Christ. For more information about our church’s beliefs and traditions, please visit the main Disciples of Christ website.
The Bridge worship begins at 5:45 and concludes around 6:45. People usually begin to gather for fellowship, snacks, and time to experience the rotating art displays around 5:30.
The Bridge meets in Drowota Hall at Woodmont Christian Church. From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you will see signs and friendly faces pointing you in the right direction. Just in case… all you have to do is go down the outside stairwell on the east side of the church (just to the left of the Sanctuary) and follow the signs and music into Drowota Hall!
The Bridge invites you to come as you are! Whether you dress formally or casual, you are welcome here.
The Bridge worship community spends time singing and praising God together, praying interactively, learning from scripture and one another, and meeting at the Table for communion together. We value art in all forms, so you may expect to find photography, drama, music, dance, poetry, painting, sculpture, and digital art when you come to The Bridge.
Yes! Childcare for babies and young children is offered by an experienced nursery staff. In addition, our informal atmosphere has been a good match for some families who want to be able to sit and worship together as a family. We also provide clipboards for younger children with activity sheets, crayons, and more.
Show up! You’ll find a friendly group of people who are warm and welcoming. It’s easy to get plugged in at The Bridge! For more information about our mission/outreach projects, small groups, and other activities, please visit the church’s main website at www.WoodmontChristian.org.
